I have the x-100v and bought it for the same purpose. My R6 and the glass is too heavy to lug around on a family trip. I am really happy with the Fuji and it is always in my bag- too big for the pocket but certainly not that heavy. It feels really well made and with a filter on it fully weather sealed. The ability to charge from a usb-c powerbank is useful. The film simulations in camera are fun to play with. The built in ND filter is also a great feature. I also got an Instax wide printer so I can give photos to friends and family on the day. I wish that connection to the camera and app was easier.
