Transfer Video From Olympus TG6 to Smartphone

I am considering purchasing this camera. Is it possible to transfer video shot on the camera to an android smart phone using the Oympus app?

I don't do video, but I see no mention of the ability to transfer video either in the manual or the OI share app for Android.

If (!) your smartphone supports OTG (on the go) you can use (buy) an OTG connector/card reader, it's cheap, approx. 16€.

Connect your smartphone and insert the SD card from your camera.

PS : with that you can transfer any file from and to your phone and another devise.

I bought this one last month and it works perfect, I use it during my travel to backup my pictures every evening to my tablet (phone).

First check your phone for OTG ready ?

I just tested it with my TG-6.  Yes, you can use the OM Image Share app to transfer videos over wifi to your phone.

Re: Transfer Video From Olympus TG6 to Smartphone

Yes you can transfer tg6 to android smartphones using the OI.Share app on your smart phone and the tg6 On and menu and then I had to down load the instructions on the real/actual detailed tg6 manual, and follow that. I had to fiddle with smartphone OM.Share page to get it's bar code scanner to come up, after fiddling with the tg6 to get it's bar code to display. Works great. The manual i found free online and printed the 184 pages!
