Smaller than the Aiken Fair (20 rides vs 40), but less crowded too...

Photos edited to taste.

ISO100 got NR set to zero. However, by ISO2500, even though I played with reducing the noise reduction, defaults were necessary. In fact by 6400 (last shot), it's obvious this ain't FF, but it's a nice showing.

No, I don't do DXO, it produces weird artifacts with bokeh and shadows at times. And although the colors are VERY close to Canon, not quite. I'm picky.

Also, I know ya'll hate on the 22 pancake and say I need a 32mm all the time, but, I'm telling you, less it more. I brought a 55-200 with me for the Festival, used it a few times, but, the shots that were "keepers" all came off the 22 pancake. I coulda told you that going into this. In fact, I almost left it home.

When in the heat of the moment, you want to be able to have fun, and document it. This is where the 18-150 pairs well for bright conditions for a no-swap lens, and the 22 pancake pairs well for dark conditions, for a no-swap, move your feet as needed, solution.

Hope you enjoy!

Great photos, looks like a fun day! DPP produces very nice images with great colors and sharpness.

The 22mm for me also seems like the sweet spot for all-around photography -- plus it's very sharp, and so tiny and light in the bag! A very under-rated lens.
