Re: First GH6 random shots

Your second shot is my favorite here though I think the cat looks very cute in a “drawn” way

Re: How did you get your GH6 so soon?

Nice shots. I like the kitty cat one the best.

I have pre-ordered a GH6 from Amazon USA. The ship date is suppose to be March 25th. I've seen this date on a number of websites selling the GH6. How did you get yours so soon?

The reason I ask is that I'm leaving on a bird photography trip in the Florida everglades on March 28. It would be great if my camera arrived a few days before that so I can practice with it before I leave. If I can get the GH6 sooner from another source, I'll cancel my Amazon order and order from a distributor that can deliver sooner.

This is from B and H, but it might be for those that have already preordered.

I hope once you get yours, you will post some photos soon after your trip.

Re:Questions.....

The cat did an nice pose for you. Nice. I have a couple of questions. What is the true base ISO of this camera, not expanded. I can't for certain figure that out elsewhere. Also, how happy have you been with the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3?

Thanks for sharing info/pics, I know a ton of folks will be looking forward to even more.

100 base 50 extended

It is an excellent lens in terms of optics and rendering not the fastest in terms of reaction of the focus motors

Impressive!!

Thank you interceptor for the quick snaps.  They look really good.

I'm amazed how good the first shot of the bird is at ISO3200.  Was it straight off the camera or did you use NR software?  Beautiful details!

Looks like OM-1 and this GH6 combo with the Panny 100-400mm lens is going to be a killer!

I can imagine with just the 7-14 F2.8, the 12-60 F2.8 and the 100-400mm "trinity", you can take on pretty much anything!  Recent announced Laowa 6mm Zero-D could be thrown in just for the kicks!  Hahahahaha~

Those are jpeg the watermark is the only thing added. There is a raw editor called silkypix but is shockingly buggy so am struggling to put it to use

Hopefully adobe will support this camera soon

Re: GH6 Focus Limiter

When you get a chance it would be great to test out the Focus Limiter on subjects.
