Those are very good questions. Last time I asked they did not have the manual and Silkypix beta was the only option.

I also don't have a cage to rig it so perhaps I will only take photos at the start

If possible please kindly work with bill to update his database. OM1 has already been included, likely G9 & GH5 mk-II has small edge better DR.

GH6 will never be on my wishing list (over killed for my usage), but would love to see how much Panny has improved its M43 line of product... 

I didn't realise CFexpress memory card is like another 10% of the camera's budget. Good luck with your new camera and I will probably wait until G9ii comes out or GH6 price falls a little.

Don't worry with the RAW converter. I can bet Panny must give one with GH6, might be the slikypix?

Bill uses DNG for measurements and that software doesn’t produce it

will need to wait a few weeks meanwhile I will focus on testing video and the ergonomics that for me are a priority

Excellent.   I am excited to get the camera too.  Hopefully, mine will ship soon.   I updated my lens lenses' firmware and I am ready.

I think gh6 is the hybrid cam of reference.

If I needed a 10th of gh6s' video capabilities i would have already pulled the trigger.

Ad a matter of fact if Panasonic comes out with a body employing same hardware (fa less), but with less video stuff, 6k photo, post focus and the HHHr i am sold.

Kudos to both Olympus and Panasonic for getting the cameras out to buyers so soon after announcement.

The G9 was announced on 11/8/17.  I pre-ordered mine on 11/10/17, and it wasn't shipped until 1/16/18, over two months later.
