Canon T7 Transmitter for Pocketwizard?
1

Hello,

The Canon EOS T7 is missing the center contact on the hotshoe preventing a Pocketwizard transmitter from communicating to a receiver. I thought the Pocketwizard Flex TT6 would resolve this issue. The TT6 will communicate to a PW receiver when pressing the test button, but it does not work when pressing the camera's shutter button. According to the  TT6 compatibility  page, the T7i is supported and not the T7.

I found from a Canon Forum that the Godox X2T-C would be a possible solution where the PW transmitter could be placed on the hotshoe of X2T-C.

Before I place an order, has anyone had luck using a Canon T7 to communicate to a Pocketwizard?

IDK much about this Pocketwizard transmitter but it looks like it will work fine. IMHO.
