D500 - Walking around the neighborhood
3

Finally a quasi-Spring day here in the Northeast. Took a break from work in the early afternoon and went for a walk in the neighborhood (working from home today). Snapped a few pictures with the D500 and the 70-300mm VR.

Won't win any award, just playing with my new toy and enjoying the beautiful day

Love the articulated screen!

Thanks for the kind comment. I know (tongue in cheek  )  I won't be a true D500 shooter until I post some BIF pictures...

I don't know why but my brain keeps wanting to come back to this one. Hard to not keep going back to it.  In a way, none of the elements belong together....but together they can be compelling

Thanks

My opinions are my own and not those of DPR or its administration. They carry no 'special' value (except to me and Lacie of course)

Love the 58' Ford Fairlane

What we spend on this stuff is equal to the depth of our pockets squared ($²) times what we (j)ustify in our minds as to what we expect to do with our pictures plus (+) the (e)njoyment we experience from using our stuff and sharing the result ... $xxxx=$²(j+e )

Thanks for taking the time to comment Mako. Some sort of abstract photography perhaps 😄?

The contrast of the elements in the frame is what attracted me: the hydrant with its "yellowness" against the muddy road and trees backdrop, with the snowplow reflective marker sticking out of it.

A truly nonsensical image!!

Thanks for commenting. It has been parked in the front yard of a home nearby for I do not know how many years.

A pity, the owner should restore it.
