Hi guys,

I have just tried that again but in the room temperature condition. And I could not reproduce the problem again with the same setting! I swear to God It was happening at least 20 times during the speed skating shooting. The problem went to normal until I switch the camera setting to the square box AF or single AF.

I have to leave it for now until it happens again!

Thank you everyone for the response. I would like to know if that happens to anyone in the future please!

Thanks again!

My experience with the freezing is that it is not easily repeatable.  If it were, it would be easy to make it fail and easy to get Canon to fix it. I have gone months without a single freeze, then all of a sudden, lockups, sometimes even multiple lockups.

People on here seem to think they have it nailed down, but I'm doubtful of that.

I think his freezing problem is that the camera was literally freezing.

Out of curiosity, what brand and size card(s) are you using? I've read several posts indicating card issues, as well as a suggestion from Canon. I use only SanDisk SD cards and Sony and ProGrade CFe-B cards.

I am using a CF Express : SanDisk Extreme Pro 128G and SD:Lexar Professional 2000x 128G.

I still think the freezing problem is not solved. It happens so random and it also depends on the temperature of the camera and how hard you are driving the camera!
