Is Olympus E-pl6 worth it?

Hello, I have this thought In my head, I found a kit for 120 euros and I'm not sure whetever I should buy it or not. I use Olympus E-1 but it's too hard for me to chose the correct settings first shot, also I like low light photography but it's impossible with this camera.

Would E-pl6 be better at it? I'm thinking of buying an adapter and using my Olympus E-1 lens on it, but I'm not sure. I had Sony a3000 before and really loved it and used it for almost anything with manual auto chinon prime lense, been struggling to find anything near that level that would fit my low budget around 150 euros...

What else is in the kit?

The kit has 12-42 lense, charger, battery, original box and bag. I'm not sure it would be something similar to sony a3000 or no. I used the lcd live view a lot on sony a3000 but I'm having a really hard time deciding whether to save more and buy something like m100 or sony a6000, or just buy this camera, and maybe adapter so I can put on my M digital 14-54mm

It's a decent camera and that price seems low, at least compared to US prices. Not sure it would improve things a lot though, but not sure why your current camera isn't working out. And a faster lens would be better for low light, and the 14-42 isn't that lens.

That's probably a 14-42 lens? Can you tell which model it is?

I had the E-PL5, and recall that it came with a detachable electronic flash... only a small one, but useful to have. Worth asking as the seller may have forgotten to include it!

If in decent condition, that sounds like a bargain. What protection do you have if it turns out to be faulty?

I own an E-PL6 - purchased it because I got a real bargain on the Olympus underwater housing for the E-PL5/6.

If you plan on using the E-1 lens on it - forget it. The lens will take forever to focus, and the body is too light to have it be comfortable - the setup will be extremely front-heavy. The screw-in grip isn't substantial enough for heavier lenses like Four Thirds lenses.

Secondly, since FT lenses need PDAF (most of them), you'd be much better off stretching your budget a bit and getting the E-M1 Mark 1.

The sensor in the E-PL6 is the same as the one in many OM-D cameras, but its IBIS is pretty lackluster and combined with the small grip, low-light work is hard unless you use really bright lenses, preferably f1.8 and up.

The sensor is certainly better than the one in the E-1 but there are better deals for under $200. For example, the E-M5 Mark 1 ... you get weather-sealing, much better construction and a (small) built-in viewfinder. But it isn't a PDAF body so not ideal if you want to use your E-1 lens.

Oh, one more thing - my LCD randomly stopped working and Olympus quoted me $200 to repair it, so I opened the camera up and did the repairs myself (purchased a replacement LCD on EBay). I know it's just one camera body but I've never had issues with my other Olympus cameras.

Unfortunately none...Also there's an offer for Fuji X-m1 without a lens. Considering that too for 100 euros and negotiable

Thank you very much for such an indepth answer, I really appreciate.

Yeah It doesn't sound really good then... there's also Fuji x-m1 without lens, maybe I should try researching about that one...

I just want something that has live view through lcd, and I can buy some kind manual prime lense and use it that way in manual mode so I can see what the end image would look like. Pretty hard to find anything decent though
