Remote radio flash triggers for Samsung NX

Hi everyone. I am wondering if anyone knows a solution to trigger 2 or more off camera flash guns with a NX500. I know most third party remote flash triggers have different specifications for Canon/Nikon/Sony etc and so far I have seen non specifically for Samsung NX. I recently got some second hand triggers/transceivers from Yongnuo that are meant for Nikon and even though I have managed to trigger 2 flashes a few times, the whole system is very inconsistent and stops working after a couple of shots. Plus it takes forever to convince to trigger them in the first place.  If anyone here struggled with this before and found any good solution, i would love to know about it. Thank you.

Hi, what triggers exactly do you have? I have been using YN560 III and IV flashes and RF603 II triggers (canon version) and have had no problems. You do have to set them up in either TX or RX mode correctly and not to Auto (or TX/RX). Older triggers lack the option to be set to TX manually and expect a signal from the camera that they are in camera and acting as TX. That's why you need a supported camera model for them. Also, triggers tgat support TTL may or may not work with Samsung (if they do work it's in full manual mode, no TTL supported).

Re: Remote radio flash triggers for Samsung NX

Sorry, forgot to mention in my initial post. So my trigger is the  YN622N-TX, and to go with it I have 2xYN622N and also 2x YN622N II's. I use a couple of fully manual older large Pentax flash guns, so TTL was never a choice. Also I don't need it, I prefer manual mode. So I got the unit to see the flashes and trigger them, but as soon as I mount the trigger on the NX500 hot shoe, the transceivers start blinking green and the shutter won't trigger the flashes. Except it sometimes, rarely, does and this inconsistency is really annoying.

You could try masking the pins other than the central one? It might work. A piece of paper or plastic foil should do it.

Very happy to say that your trick actually worked. I can now use both flashes and trigger them in manual mode consistently. Thank you very much for the advice, hope this might help other user who might have the same problem as I.

Glad to be of help.
My students say that the weirder my suggestion is, the better the odds of it being useful are
