IBIS not working with new Samyang AF 12mm?

How did it go? Is there an improvment with the ibis ? I have the Fuji XS10. It is shame you are forced to buy a lens station.

IBIS is finally working after I've updated the lens to version 3. Now, there is a clear difference between turning IBIS off and on. I've just shot some sample images, which I'll add to this post. The ones with IBIS off are basically what you got before updating, irrespective of the IBIS settings.

Concering the need to buy a lens station: I agreee, that this is annoying. However, you could buy it, update, and then return it. To be honest, that's what I did. (Hoping, Mr. Bezos is not reading this.)

Without IBIS:

IBIS off (=IBIS on, before updating) #1

IBIS off (=IBIS on, before updating) #2

IBIS off (=IBIS on, before updating) #3

With IBIS, afer update:

IBIS on (lens v.3) #1

IBIS on (lens v.3) #2

IBIS on (lens v.3) #3

hey, thanks for confirming it is working. it definitely looks much better. Good to know it works. Please do post more photos of shots with the ibis working and anything else you find with the lens. Also great idea regarding the lens stations :). I have gone down a different route, been trying to hassle Samyang on facebook, but before that I actually contacted the UK service center and they said they would do as long it was brought a seller they recognised. It is a bit of a process but I will send my lens off them and they will do the update and send the lens back to me. The German customers get a great deal, they include a new lens station with the lens or 50% off one if you own one. As usual in the UK we get the worse deal.

Anyone know where to buy this Lens Station?   Looks like there is no US Stock.  Found it on a few UK sites but they don't ship out.

What a horrible idea. Just add $50 to the price and build-in a usb port like Viltrox!
