X100V SS dial play
1

Hello beautiful people. I’d like to ask if this amount of play is normal on the X100V shutter speed dial. To me it doesn’t feel right. I have the original X100 and on that camera there is no play whatsoever.

I’ve posted a short clip to show what I mean. Can anybody confirm if this is the same with their X100V?

Thank you!

Mine has a tiny bit of play, but the clicks are very stiff, sharply defined and nowhere near as sloppy as what I'm seeing in your video.

To me, the actual clicks are pretty stiff. The problem I have is the amount of play between the clicks. Does your dial show as much play as seen in the above video?

No, just a tiny bit.

Re: X100V SS dial play

My X100V has essentially no play in the shutter speed dial.

Nope...

Mine doesn't have much play at all.

Today the shutter speed dial finally gave up and fell off the camera while I was using it. Suddenly felt no resistance while turning the dial and it came off into my hand.

Took it to the retailer today who will be sending out hopefully covered under warranty. Estimating a month turn around which is a bummer.
