First Walk with new to me R6ii

Got it Sunday and updated firmware and customized my setup.  So far the only native lens I have is the EF-M 31, but it did come with Canon branded adaptor, so I played around with my EF 24-70 F2.8L II.  So far, I am liking this setup.  AF is snappy, its small and light to carry around, and files are not too different to process than my Canon R6 files.  Images are processed RAW files using DXO for raw import, then edited to taste in Lightroom CC

And for fun, here is one from the 24-70 adapted… and yes, that should have said both M6ii and EF-M 32mm on my first post… old and tired eyes

R6ii and 31mm lens - starting rumors, are we?

Beautiful first shots, enjoy the camera!

What is your next lens?

Big congrats on the new camera!  You’re putting it to good use already.

If someone said that I could keep only one camera and one lens, this combo would be it.  Incredibly fun, and surprisingly capable!

Enjoy the early X-mas present!

Starting really poor rumors at that, lol.

I am debating next lens being the 11-20, or perhaps adapting an EF/EF-S lens for landscape work.

Indeed.  I would likely out-think myself into keeping a capable zoom for the versatility, but my early impressions of this lens and body combo are a strong showing.

You've done it again: Should be 11-22mm. I blame it on your enthusiasm with the new kit. Join the fan club!

Wait 'till you try it with the Sigma 56/1.4 - it will blow your mind!

Nice shots. Congratulations on your new set up. 11-22mm is a beauty and the 22mm prime is hard to resist.
