Change video shutter speed in Auto Mode
1

Hello ! I'm new to DPReview

I purchased a Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II, mostly for filming.
To get the sharpest image, I have to set shutter speed to double the frame rate.
(eg,. When filming at 50 fps, use 1/100 shutter speed)

But how can I change the shutter speed in AUTO mode? Or the system will default its shutter speed to double the frame rate ?

P.S I know it there is a shutter speed setting in MOVIE mode, but I don't want to use MOVIE mode coz I cannot film in 4:3 aspect ratio with it.

Would appreciate any of your help : )

You need to go to the menu - and it is there...

IDK why you can't film a 4:3 aspect ratio...

Keep trying and did you get a manual?
