Which light would you buy?

I'm shooting real estate and would like to add to my pair of ad200's. I'd like to get into shooting larger commercial spaces and architecture. Since I've just been shooting for MLS and am new my budget is fairly tight. Which would you recommend?

Note this is the non TTL version of the AD600

True, you do get ttl with the ad400pro. But I have to use manual for my work.

Yes, I just pointed it out for the benefit of people unfamiliar with older Godox battery moonlights. It;'s a pretty good deal.

More power, cheaper price..... I bought 2 AD 600b two yrs. ago with the same deal. No regrets.  I got the extension head for the AD600b for $70.  Great for keeping weight off the top of the stand/boom.

At this pricing, I would only get the AD400 if the size/weight difference was a big concern.

If I had to choose between these two it would be the 400Pro. Greater color accuracy. Cleaner throw from the bulb if you’re doing hard sources (less of a hotspot/double shadow). More versatile mount options, Bowens and Profoto. I make use of the upper range on my 600s plenty, but there are a lot of shoots where 400 would be fine.

Big Godox sale! MS300 monolight for $84.

I wonder if/when availability of replacement batteries will become an issue for older models.

Rather than one of these, I bought a pair of Godox MS300 / Flashpoint Blaz 300 AC monolights for $84 each (Black Friday sale price) to supplement my AD360 / Streaklight and a whole box of Godox speedlights.

I know the ad400pro color accuracy tests better than profoto, but how bad is the ad 600bm?

Honestly it’s situation and workflow dependent, and ultimately a personal choice as to whether it matters for you. I’ve got a buddy making great work with the OG 600s, but I personally felt the need for the Pro grade lights for my style of work.
