**PART 2** This Week Through Your Eyes 2021.11.21
  • Please reply to my original post when submitting your own pictures.
  • Photos do not have to be taken on m4/3. This long-running thread is a community for both m4/3 users and also old friends who have moved away or are experimenting with other systems, including me.
  • Give your reply a title.
  • Leave your guns and knives at the door. Keep it polite. There are plenty of other threads if you can’t manage that.
  • First thread kicks off Saturday morning (UK time).
  • The word ‘Equivalence’ is banned.
  • Newbies encouraged, any standard.
  • Don’t just post and run, try to comment on other peoples’ work. We all like to get feedback.
  • Avoid wasting thread space with replies such as “Thanks n/t”
  • Try to avoid separate posts with pictures of a similar theme. Put them all in the same post to avoid filling the threads too quickly.
  • Photographs do not have to have been taken this week.
  • Pictures of ducks in the local park, cherry blossom close ups or homeless people? C’mon, you’re better than that.
  • Posting here implies you’re happy to receive a critique of your work.

I start Part 2 of a thread before Part 1 is full (at around 110/150 posts). At that point, continue discussions in Part 1 but please don't post any new photographs there. This prevents any tail-enders’ photographs being marooned with no room for comments.

A day in Florence II
1

Following on from my post in part 1, here a few more pictures of my day out in Florence.

Duomo

Technically full of problems. I saw and shot without having time to adjust the camera, but I liked the pose of two young people.

On the Wall
4

A walk along part of Hadrian's Wall, Northumberland.

The crags in the middle distance are the best known - most scenic part of the wall, including Sycamore Gap in one of those dips.

A curious handle to help you over the stile.

|All roads lead to ...   Looking down from one of those crags in the first shot.

This, and the shot you posted in part one are quite spectacular.

I think experimental theatre is far more interesting photographically than music photography.

Re: On the Wall

A great sense of peaceful landscape in these shots.

I presume the paths in the path shots are made by deer making for a favourite drinking spot.

Re: Warm and cold

The traces of coulour in the second one make it so much more interesting.
