Konica Hexanon 400mm f4.5

Good day all. I recently purchased a camera lot to get my hands on a couple of Hasselblad MF cameras and in that lot, there was a Konica Hexanon 400mm f4.5, in Konica case, that appears to be in excellent condition. The only thing that appear to be missing is the colored drop-in filters. I had though of picking up an adapter to use this lens with my Nikon DSLRs but thought that perhaps it would be better appreciated by a Konica user. Can anyone shed some light on this lens for me regarding performance and value? Thanks in advance.

You can find out more about the lens here ; http://www.buhla.de/Foto/Konica/Objektive/e400_45.html

Not sure about it's performance as a quick search didn't come up with any reviews .

The only reference I could find was here ;

http://forum.mflenses.com/hexanon-400mm-f4-5-t58233.html

Which suggests it's not a common lens , how that equates to desirability , I don't know .

You'd have to do a search for completed sales on ebay to find the selling value , if that's what you mean by "value" .

Asking about the value of something without showing pictures of it or stating the condition makes it impossible for anyone to even guess at the value of it .

Looking at the website that has the information on about this lens , it says it uses standard 55mm filters for the drop in filter holder , so as long as that is present then getting a set of used 55mmm filters for black and white photography might add value to it , especially to a film photographer .

With many people shooting with mirrorless cameras now this lens can be easily adapted , so older manual focus lenses have jumped up in value these last few years .

Thanks for the reply, Neil. I missed the part about the filters being standard 55mm so that helps. I have posted some images of the kit to give a better idea of the condition. Thanks again.
