Very beautiful pictures!

Here is my last pic of the month. November has gotten pretty dark where we live.

I like this one, too. The closest I can get to this type of image is when we have winter fog. If anything, I might have shown this as darker and gloomier.

And did you try a portrait orientation?

Thank you, David. I do have darker and gloomier pictures from that day but unfortunately they were taken with the Sigma DP2 Merrill and don´t belong in this thread. I have all three of the Merrills. Not sure if I understand your last question correctly. Do you want to know whether I use the Sigma for portraits? Not too often. The DP1M and DP2M I have occasionally used for street photography (mostly b&w) and got some good results. With the DP3 I got one portrait which I like a lot. Everything seems just right, the colours the expression of the face and so on. But often enough when I take pictures of people with the Sigmas in colour I don´t like how the cameras render skin tones. So for people pictures I mostly use Fuji. Was that what you asked about or did I misunderstand you?

Here one more from the Sigma DP1M which I like.

I meant, did you try to crop this picture to a vertical orientation?

I did try it but was not convinced that it looks better.
