Wireless Remote Shutter & Live View for Panasonic cameras

Hello to all friends of the forum,
I would need to control my Panasonic cameras (G7 & G80) from a great distance (up to 50-60m) via a smartphone / tablet, maintaining the ability to see the scene in live view, activating the shutter and varying the shooting parameters. In short, more or less what ImageApp does but at a much, much higher distance ... better if up to 100m. I cannot find a suitable product on the market.
Thanks in advance to those who want to help me.

I wonder whether a wi-fi extender would work? You can get them at most electronics or even business supply stores. They're sometimes used by people in large houses where the primary wireless access point isn't strong enough to cover the whole building.

Best wishes,
Sterling

both cameras gives you the ability to connect a mobile device on very simple ad-hoc wifi point-to-point connectivity.

Unfortunately, even in a radio dead environment, 100 m is far too much distance for reliable radio connectivity at such a high frequency and low power output. Specially with these non-directional build-in antennas. Using the classic DIY wok-reflector might help.

The ad-hoc wifi of the cameras is not well documented. I doubt, that simple wifi extenders can do a job as it is nether infrastructure network, nor mesh network.
Wok-Fi might help as it gives you several db antenna gain (unless you are just behind the camera).

Without basic knowledge of HF-tech, building a wok-fi can be disappointing. With a good fit, 300m and more are no problem.

The G7 has a live HDMI output, the backchannel for the trigger is quite simpel. You can of course use Pro-Gear from the world of broadcast.  How much latency can you tolerate?

I use a D-Link travel router on a power bank to extend the range (40 meters). I also have a genuine 2.4ghz router with two external 9dBi antenna's powered on 5volt usb if I want more range (60+ meters). You must select 'Network' to pair your camera to the router (Panasonic Image App).

Try to control your camera via your wifi network...

So any router will work (use a router or access point, not an extender). There are outdoor wifi access points available for greater range which might work better.

However, I think the bottleneck will be the small antenna's in your smartphone. Use 2.4ghz

I thank all the friends who are helping me and now I want to add a few more details: the distance of 40-50m (maybe 100m is really too much!) I need to make some very suspicious wildlife shots.

I was unfamiliar with "WorkFi" and thank Thorfinn for his advice. NicolaesP's advice on the Wi-Fi router is also very useful.

To tell the truth, I was hoping for a compact commercial solution like the "Vello FreeWave" or the "Pixel Expert Wireless", which unfortunately are not compatible with Panasonic. These commercial solutions have the advantage of leaving the smartphone "free" and having very small dimensions.

But maybe there is some compatible product that I don't know ...

Here is my 'compact' solution. The pan & tilt comes with a remote control (30+ meters range). I cover it up in camo cloth. With the G9 I can use Panasonic Lumix Sync, which is imho a better app than the panasonic image app (for example remote wake-up and turn-off).
