Some recent Minolta Dynax/Maxuum 7 photos
4

Just ran a roll of Porta400 through my Dynax 7. Developed by The Darkroom.  Used the Minolta AF 75-300mm for all the shots.  As usual, nothing to complain about.

Driving back from my Orchardist Neighbors' Pumpkin patch.

Asters and a Hover Fly

Painted Turtle. Lake Perez, Pennsylvania

For millenia known for it's use as a poison, the beautiful and deadly Monkshood; also known as Wolfbane.

Very nice images, Joel. I need a roll of two of that, the grain is beautiful. I would love to run it through my Maxxum 70 with my primes and beercans.

I'm having to find a new online lab. I have had too many instances of my local lab getting dirt in the emulsion of my last couple of rolls. I'll probably try a lab that's in Charlotte, NC.

Thank you. I like Porta400 for outdoor work.  For a Lab, I use The Darkroom located in San Clemente, California.  They've been at it for 45 years and do an excellent job. You might check them out if the one in Charlotte doesn't work out.

Just out of curiosity: what's the lab's task? Developping plus scanning?Or do you scan the film strips or slides by yourself?

Developing plus scanning.  They also so do printing, but I prefer to get just the occassional one printed.  I get the negatives back, with the option of either a photo CD or USB. They also post an album to my account which is where I download from. You can rent album storage from them, but I prefer to keep a photo file for each of my cameras.
