Spot the difference - Gouda NL
6

Both stitched from 6 vertical shots with PS Photomerge.

Gouda Museumhaven, the Netherlands.

And after the fog this morning, it is sunny again

Thanks for looking,

André

I like both of them. Composition is very good and have good detai.  I actually prefer the fog shot - gives the viewer more to think about.

The shot w/o fog is a decent tourist shot.  The shot w fog is artistically more interesting.

I like the quietness of the fog scene.

Great shot, great comparison.

Thanks for your thoughts Rick, Don, Captain and embie.

Being a romantic fool, I also prefer the second version

I think # 1 would be a great post card shot. So Nice.

I like 1 better.  My eye is drawn to the masts and church spires in the back.  In the second, I can’t see the church and the fog makes the masts look wiggly.  Also like the vibrant color.

Thanks Kent.  👍

They really should have used red bricks for those modern apartments on the right, otherwise it is one of the best views in town

Thanks dartymix.  👍

Agreed, but I also like the timeless mystery of the second version

Both cool, and like others I like the fog shot. But what I really want to see is one spliced with the left side being from the fog shot and the right side from the daylight shot!

I will sit on the fence and say I like both - they are just as good as one another. The fog one does have something special.

To respond to the subject line - the difference is that apparently some came by during the night and stole the church in the middle.
