RX100VII: slo mo bees

Tried to get some decent footage but it was really windy. Shot in 980 slo mo. Don't know much about video as I rarely shoot it. This is a fun little camera.

Fantastic idea

I will copy it.

Honestly I never used the slo mo video feature yet, but I should.

What I will do differently- Use 480fps instead, further slow it down on computer and also crop the 4K video because the rx100 series can't really do macro.

But the point proven here- it can be done, and it should be done. I love bee movies and photos!

Re: RX100VII: slo mo bees

Well great, now I want to upgrade my rx100iii to a vii and sit in my backyard for hours on end trying to get bee videos. Well done and thank you for sharing.

Re: RX100VII: slo mo bees

I tried the 980 fps mode on my RX10iv once and was disappointed in the IQ quality. This is quite apparent in your video which is low res. That said your video is pretty cool.

Thanks. I think Rambow had the right idea and although I understand what he's saying, I have no idea how to actually do it. I'm extremely green when it comes to video.
