Irix Pentax lens comparison

I've recently become aware of the Irix Dragonfly 45mm lens, it looks rather wonderful if a beast of a lens, however I already have a 43mm ltd. I was wondering if anyone has done a comparison between these two lenses in terms of IQ? Any responses will be gratefully received.

I do not have a comparison, but there is a review on YouTube by Christopher Frost, and it alone made me not want to bother with it as a manual focus lens.  It does not seem all that sharp wide open.

There's a pretty elaborate staff review on Pentax-forums:

Seems the lens is nice, of course depending on personal preferences for size, type of focusing and type of rendering / character.

Yes, apparently its an old type lens formula that sacrifices sharpness for smooth focus transitions when wide open. I've seen images and the bokeh is wonderful at full aperture but that wouldn't worry me, as I'd use it tripod mounted on a K1ii for landscape, at f/5.6-f/11 and for that reason the weather sealing also appeals to me.

Thank you and yes it looks lovely but for me specifically I want to know if there'd be much improvement over the 43 ltd for landscape work?
