So shy, so cautious, having a perfect+ sight, and so magnificent. Common Buzzard. Pity it didn't let me closer. I took the image you can see below at approx. 50m.

Learned something here.  My thought was that this bird looked like a hawk.  With some Googling, reallized they are called buzzards in Europe and hawks in North America.

Recently, I had a squirrel that like to come up to my patio where the birds had dropped birdseed that I had fed them.  And this same squirrel was brave enough to return time after time.  Until one morning, I looked out the kitchen window, and there on the fence was a hawk dining on my little squirrel.  No more little squirrel.  Or at least not that little squirrel.

I'm sorry if that was your visiting squirrel.

Our buzzard in Slovenia (Europe) is predominantly specialized in hunting the mice. That's why we call it a "mouser".
