performance confirmation of panasonic 85/1.8 lens

i bought this lens upon release and it has become my 'normal' lens for my semi-rural area. i noticed immediately that it had excellent performance wide open as i usually walk near sunset and that's how i shot it the vast majority of the time. when it was released there was a dxo review which indicated it didn't need to be stopped down to achieve maximum sharpness.

so this review was just confirmation of what i already knew, but nice to have the evidence since a few have posted here that they found it soft.

I love this lens

Good to know it's technically as good as it feels.  I've been repeatedly impressed by the portraits I get from the 85 f/1.8.    Nearly every shot is a keeper and the bokeh is so nice.
