Voigtlander lenses on Leica M10 - why no zoom when focus peaking?

Hi - I have a 35/1.2 Voigtlander Nokton lens on my M10 and although there is focus peaking on the viewfinder, it doesn't zoom in as it does with my M lenses.  Is this normal?

Thanks!

Just in case...

There is a focus control button at the front of the camera.

Press that and then turn the control wheel at the back to dial-in the required magnification.
