Nikkor 24-120 f/4 lens correction profile

Hello,

I use Zoner Photo Studio with Adobe DNG converter, which has some LCPs within. For the said lense, there is only one for D3X. I do not think that should be the issue (should it?) when I have this lense on D600.

However, the barrell distortion on 24 mm is extremely overcorrective and after application of the profile, the image goes into heavy pincushion distortion on the image sides. Not sure, what happens in the middle; but if there is a face on in say 1/4 of the image, it just gets distorted.

Is this a normal behaviour with Adobe DNG? I tried Nikon's Capture NX-D, but the result was the same. Could anyone provide me with another version of the LCP file, more refined?

Thank you.

Just a thought here, I wonder if it's taking the camera-corrected JPEG and correcting it again? That would certainly trigger pincushion distortion.
