Welcome all to the Sunday Cat! thread, a weekly meeting of DPR members on a subject of common interest, our feline friends. Appearing regularly, except for a brief interruption in September, 2016, since Anton AK started the thread 14 years ago on 23rd September, 2007, its successive thread managers have been John King, Warriormouse, Robert J, Coldamus, Robert J again (with an assist by StanTsui) and since September 2016, long time lurker, me.

Lounging Kitties of the Week!

Jasper and Leo, upgraded from apartment to house, enjoying the view from their new front porch.

As said by Warriormouse, "Photos can be more than just art, they can be memories, so come share your picture and stories of your feline companions with us.”

The Sunday Cat! knows no limits. An image taken with any light writing device from any era is welcome, as are cats of any kind, wild, domesticated, mechanical or even imagined!

Last week's purrs, #726

Last week we had exciting news from Jasper and Leo that they had moved, and hopeful news that Max will become a part of their family. Meanwhile WhyNot's Max said goodbye for the season and Patch demonstrated the instincts of a predator. Will any of the kitties do something special for the 14th anniversary of the Sunday Cat! this week? I guess we'll see.

Though small in size, the imprint they make on our lives is huge.

A rare sight

This past summer, Palmer and Mini-Me made a temporary truce so that they could both observe something that was in the back yard.  They did this again the next day, but haven't since.

Re: inspecting the co2 meter

He certainly looks alarmed by what he saw -- I hope the readings are OK.

p.s. What's a CO2 meter; don't think I've heard of one here in the States.

I agree.  Tiger certainly seems alarmed by what he has seen.  But maybe it's his esthetic sense that has been jolted by the dark grey/black box on the beige tabletop.

The CO2 meter has become a bit of a thing in Belge as we have worked out that high levels of particulates and CO2 in a closed room is bad for health. When the rate becomes too high your cat sends you an alarm. This can be through a startled look or sometimes :

And we know which end they consider to be the better one.
