A6600 Code red and Touit 12/2.8 joins the party
11

Did a shoot yesterday with the A6600, the Touit 12/2.8, Touit 32/1.8 and Batis 135/1.8. I don't normally shoot ultra-wide angle portraits but my Touit 12 which is my vacation lens hasn't felt the love lately so I decided to bring it.

Here are my some of my faves:

Cheers,

José

Maybe you can upload the photos with exif informations in the future. I was interested about used aperture on Batis photos, but unfortunately not visible.

Very nice, I especially like #4 and #10. #7 is good but a little handsy...but I wouldn't know... I haven't started taking pics of models...yet...

Toronto looks nice...never been to Canada...yet...

Unfortunately one of the software I use deletes the Metadata/EXIF of the saved image. I already wrote to them. However, I probably shoot 90% of the Batis @f/1.8. The other 5% is f/4.5-5.6 for head and shoulders shots if I want the facial features sharp. The last 5% is other apertures.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't been to DC either, hopefully someday.

Cheers,

José

The nervous bokeh of Touit 32/1.8 but it's got character :-)
2

I think I've had this lens for about eight years. At that time there were only a couple of field reviews. One of them wrote about the jittery bokeh of this lens @ f/1.8 especially when the background is relatively close to the subject. He even suggested to shoot at f/2.2 to smooth it out. He was spot on as I experienced the same issue. Anyway sometimes I get tired of that 'oil painting' kind of bokeh plus it's a lot lighter than the Sigma 35/1.4 ART.
