I am glad you like the pictures. Here are the answers for your questions:

1. Most if not all Palouse region is in Washinton state.

2. No, I do not live there, just spent 5 days exploring the area.

3. Photos were taken during the third week of July, 2021

Thank you! I envy you, for I haven't been there since 1980. It's still lovely.

Although most of the Palouse falls within Washington, it's clear that Idaho lays claim to a portion of it: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/idaho/rolling-hills-id/     It also extends into northeastern Oregon.
