How do I get my photos off Samsung NX3000?

I've found my NX3000 but no copy of iLauncher and my Windows pc doesnt recognise the device. So I have stuck the memory card into the pc only to discover that many of the images I wanted to retrieve are stored directly onto the camera itself.  I've contacted Samsung Live Help who were useless.  I can't find a driver anywhere to get my pc to recognise the device.  I've even dusted off my old pc running Win 7 and that doesnt recognise it either.  The photos are really important so I need to find a way of getting them off the camera.  Any suggestions would be very welcome.

The NX3000 doesn't have internal memory so there's no way images are stored on the camera. If playback on the camera shows images, they are on the card.

Exactly! I used my NX3000 again after 3 years in a recent vacation, and downloaded the (raw) files yesterday. No need for iLauncher. Simply took the microSD card out of the camera, put into an appropriate card reader, and connected it to my iMAC (never mind, exactly the same with any window-based PC!). Then transferred the files to the hard disk. That's all.

There may be several folders within the DCIM folder on the card, each of which may have images in them. You'll need to copy each of these folders to your computer (if they exist).

If there's only one folder within the DCIM folder visible on the computer, the card may be partially corrupt

Just to prove (or disprove) that there are images actually stored in the camera, can you view these images with no card fitted in the camera?

According to the manual, wi-fi is an option for file transfer on this camera (to a 'phone), have you tried that?
