This is a fairly new lens. Can I ask why you didn't keep it?

I too placed an order for the mk2 back in march and canceled due to the wait.  Decided last week to buy a mk1.  Well it arrived today and it is a mk2!  It was advertised as a mk1 but needless to say, I'm happy with the outcome.

Because I sold all my ILC Fuji gear to buy a Leica Q2!

(I kept my X100V—I've just decided that I prefer fixed-lens cameras.)

As I say, it's a great lens. It's actually one of my favorite Fuji lenses, alongside the 18 f/1.4 and 35 f/1.4. I had "feels" (as the kids say) when I boxed it up. This was the last photo I took with it before I sent it off—I hope it finds a good home:

No info. The XF27mmF2.8 R WR is not available anywhere at retail anywhere in the USA. The eBay prices are off the charts. My order is still back-ordered.

I found mine at Best Buy's online store a couple of weeks ago after waiting for almost a year. They seem to be out right now, but keep checking back. This is not a source I normally think about, but they came through big time on this one. As the supply chain loosens I think we can expect to see more of these surprise appearances.

For what it's worth, this is why I chose not to preorder, even though I was tempted many times as the delay got longer and longer. That way I was free to move instantly without the hassle of cancelling an order. ( Or close to instantly- I had my order in within a half hour of reading that someone had bought a long delayed Fuji camera kit on the same site.)
