600D - can see dirt when viewing through camera but can't find it anywhere! Any advice?

When looking through the viewfinder of my 600D I can see black spots and , what look like small hairs. I thought these would be on the sensor and cleaned it. Images show the sensor is clean but I can still see all the dirt through the viewfinder.

I have tried to clean the viewfinder, mirror and pentaprism focusing screen but can't get rid of the dirt marks. I have tried a couple of lenses. The dirt is not in the lens.

I can't see the dirt marks when in Live View.

I don't know what else to try. The marks are really distracting even though they don't show up on images.

I haven't used the camera for quite a while but it has been stored in a bag in dry conditions.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Canon EOS 600D (EOS Rebel T3i / EOS Kiss X5)

When I see tiny bits of dirt particles in the viewfinder and it's not showing on the picture, I just ignore it.  I suppose if someone took apart the camera completely, we would find the source.  But it depends on how annoying it is.  Would there be something on YouTube that you might find?  I use YouTube for many types of repair.  Sometimes we get lucky that someone has made a video of it.
