Refurbished Fuji X100V?

I had sent my Fuji X100S in to Fujifilm for repair as the EVF and screen would flicker drastically whenever trying to autofocus. Unfortunately, it seems like they don't have the parts to repair the camera and offered to swap it for a refurbished X100V for $950 USD + tax. Does it seem worthwhile to do so, or should I just buy a used X100F?

Ask about warranty on the refurbished X100V; if they have good coverage for it, go for it. The lens is somewhat better and so is AF.

They're providing a 6 month warranty on it.

Are you based in the US?  I searched around and while I did not see any used X100Fs on KEH (a very reliable used photo equipment vendor), I did see some at mpb.com (another reputable vendor). They have some used X100Fs for anywhere between $904 to $824.    FWIW, at these prices, I would go for the refurbished X100V.  If you can afford it, then for $950, you are probably going to get a like new X100V.  I would make sure that Fujifilm gives you a return window if you find out  that there is something wrong with it.

The Fujifilm X100V is a (much) better camera against the "F", so I would go for it.

Ive previously purchased a refurb X100f from Fujifilm - it developed a problem - typically just after the warranty run out.  Probably just my bad luck but it has made me cautious.

The refurbed X100V sounds like a good deal to me.

It’s a huge upgrade and you’re getting an x100v for a very good price. The x100v goes for $1,400 new and isn’t always easy to find. It’s by far the best x100 out there. Refurbished usually means they went over it in great detail. Make sure you get some kind of warranty and then pull the trigger.

I've bought refurbished cameras from Fuji, and they were in like new excellent condition.  So I wouldn't worry.  if you have the money go for it, as others have said the V is the best!
