10 photos with the TG6 (underwater only)
23

Following two similar posts in the Fuji X forum (10 photos with the 16-80 and 70-300) , I thought I would share my 10 best from this summer with the TG6. The TG6 proved to be the most used camera!

Wow!  Makes me full of envy - I'm no way near the skill level as you (I have a TG4).

Where were those taken if you don't mind me asking?

Here are a few of my own TG-6 photos taken while snorkeling in French Polynesia. All were processed from raw using DxO PhotoLab 4 Elite. The DeepPRIME noise reduction makes huge improvements in the images from the small sensor of the TG-6.

Lagoon Triggerfish

Manta Ray

Giant Clams encrusted in coral

Threadfin Butterflyfish

Magnificent Sea Anemone

Thank you for your kind words.

It takes some time to achieve them but its not that difficult.

You mainly need a good model that can dive up to 3-4m, a pair of color fins, a color swimsuit, a nice rocky water bottom (sandy bottom can be less clear) and clear water under the sun. Then you need to add the wide extender lens from Olympus and try to get the right angles.

They were taken in Greece, most of them in Kea and some  in Paros. Both of them are Greek islands in the Aegean Sea.

Very nice. One improvement I found in the TG6 was the much better JPEG engine for underwater.

HA, there were 100s of those in Avlemonas last year ... also shot with the TG-5 (and lots more).

Cheers

How did you avoid getting stung by the jellyfish?

Well, the tentacles of this species are short ... so no problem if you are not too clumsy in the water.

Cheers
