very nice shot.  thank you for sharing.   I have a question concerning the Sigma 105.  I noticed you stopped it down, and I'm curious what your impression is of the CA and distortion wide open.   Does it have the same type of color fringing (purple halos) as the Sigma 85mm ?

thanks in advance,

John

Hi John,

I am very satisfied with the Sigma 105mm f/1.4.  Very little CA and distortion wide open.  I use most of the time f/2 because the lens does not have fine focus ability like a standard telescope focuser.  I can't compare this lens with the Sigma 85mm because I never use it.

Mario
