canon g12 preview setting?
1

i'm sure that my G12 used to hold the image just after shooting for a couple of seconds. I'm not sure what i changed and when, but now this doesn't happen anymore. It shows a black screen instead of the preview.

any ideas where this setting is?

thanks

Do a RESET.. Then select your settings.    L

On my G1 X it's controlled by an item called 'Review' in the shooting menu - you can set the number of seconds an image stays on view for, turn it off or set to 'hold' to keep it visible until you press the shutter button. I would imagine it's the same on the G12.

Check page 169 of the Manual, compare your settings. If it's a problem reset would be where to start.
