Is there anyway to repair dead MicroSD card?

I had brought Sandisk MicroSD 32GB Extreme Pro version and everything was okay. I didn't use it two months and kept in my moneybag and now this is not working.

Inserted it in my D5200 and it is heating up. It is not showing in my android. Used it on my Windows laptop and wasn't working there either.

Can I do anything to repair?

You can't fix them.  Just throw it away and buy a new one.

No, nothing.  If you bought it from a reputable source return it and press for a refund.  There are a lot of counterfeit cards around, you may have been scammed.

Before you throw it away check that the contacts are clean and free of anything that might obstruct with the contacts.

Send it back anyway.  It won't take long to write the letter or cost much to post.  You've little to lose.

Here is the warranty table for Sandisk products, your card may have a lifetime warranty.

https://kb.sandisk.com/app/warranty/a_id/22478

I suggest you contact the reseller you purchased the card from and ask about a replacement.

Cheers,
Doug

Given the cost of as cards these days, it isn’t even worth the effort.   32gb card like $10.

Depends if anything of value is stored on the card.

The likelihood of getting an SD card repaired at any price is so low that you’d be just as well off waiting for time travel so you can reshoot the photos.

I was just pointing out that the value of a card is not always just the value of a pristine card.
