Alternate Hood for 28-105 af-d

I have the HB 18 but looking for something smaller. Which smaller hood do you use?

Pics would be helpful.

Thanks.

I have neither the HB-18 nor the 28-105mm AF-D, but on those rare occasions where the supplied lens hood gets in the way, I just go "commando" without one.  The shorter the hood, the less resistance to flare it provides.

The HB-27 meant for the 28-100G fits the 28-105D no problems but is quite a narrow hood in comparison to the HB-18 which looks quite massive, like one of those collars the vet might put on your dog's head to stop them scratching!

28-105 AF-D needs a hood or sharp contrasty results will be difficult to obtain.  I always used the designated hood, ugly though it was.
