OMD EM1 MK2 Grip loose

The grip on my OMD EM1 MK2 has come away from the body. Does anyone know what glue is used on the grip? I'm trying to decide between a DIY fix or to pony up for an official repair, which I havent got a quote for yet...

Re: OMD EM1 MK2 Grip loose

I have had the same issue with 3-4 of my Olympus cameras.   I've read quite a few threads here that discussed the adhesive options. I recall trying several myself,  mostly 3M automotive adhesives and tapes all with limited success. The main reason most people seem to indicate lack of success is that the grip itself has usually stretched.  I found this to be true on my cameras.  I've had it replaced under warranty most times by Olympus.
