A very low light drone shot
2

With hardly a breath of wind, I wondered if it was possible to take a reasonably interesting photo at 10pm at night using a Mavic pro and a bit of painting with light.

ISO 100 8 sec exposure of the stone quay.

I never expected such a movement free snap as this.

I hope you like it.

Best seen in full size.

Nice photo.  Any issues landing in the dark?

I was familiar with landing in the dark. It is essential to provide light of there will be consequences.

I had a powerful torch pinched between my knees whilst I manipulated the sticks.

This is the touch-down shot.

Here is an odd video I made, including my preparations for flying along an underground tunnel. No light, no GPS, no clue how it would turn out.

I hope you have a chuckle.

Chuckle achieved!  I won't be trying the cave trick anytime soon.

Thanks for the info,

Rich
