tethered shooting on an Android tablet

What software would I use to do tethered shooting (i.e. via USB cable) on an Android tablet and a Canon DSLR?

I've seen references to DSLR Contoller, EOS Utility, Canon Camera Connect, DSLR Dashboard. etc.

I'm not sure which is the best for a tablet. I can't seem to find if Canon Camera Connect will work with a USB cable, and I think EOS Utility only works with Windows and Mac.

I have a Canon T8i, and am thinking of buying a Samsung Tab A7.

I contacted Canon and they told me that Canon Camera Connect will only work wirelessly. I am more interested in a wired approach.

Probably best asking questions like this on a Canon camera forum … this site is primarily for Samsung cameras
