Camera App with user picture profiles?

I used to own a Nikon D7000 which would allow you to make a custom jpeg picture profile that was applied when you take a photo. This was you could tweak the standard vivid, portrait modes to your liking. Now I own a Fuji X-T30 and they have a similar feature they call film simulations - like velvia, classic chrome etc.

I have an Android phone (Samsung s9+) and was wondering if there are any camera apps that let you store a profile to shoot like that?

At the moment, the best I can do is shoot in "pro" mode on the stock camera. That allows me to reduce contrast and change tint and adjust shadows / highlights. I can get a flat jpeg image and in the stock gallery app, apply a filter based on a colour profile lifted from another photo (or go and edit in snapseed). It would be great to miss those steps and just capture an image with a profile I like - at the moment, that is slightly desaturated, reduced contrast with maybe a cool tone.

Re: Camera App with user picture profiles?

Difficult these days to know if any third-party camera app will work across the plethora of Android models, Camera2 API implementations and lens and sensor configurations but the most configurable one I know is Snap Camera HDR. You'll see the control dial has three preset positions - P1, P2, P3 - each is independently configurable through the set up menus (and the dedicated presets are similarly modifiable). The free trial Play Store version is pretty fully enabled to test for compatibility, but installs the old version 8.7.8, The current paid version 8.10.4 is a substantial upgrade to capabilities, especially to HDR.

Option 1:
Find a version of gcam that works with your phone and has custom lib settings.  There are many of them if you have the Qualcomm version of the S9+.  If you have the Exynos version, you will have to go with option 2 (which is a good option anyway).
Option 2:
Snapseed.  It's Google's editing app (free).  It allows you to save custom presets and then apply them in one tap/click on any jpeg.

Thanks. Especially for going to the trouble of adding links. I'll try it out.

I have an xynos Samsung so unlikely to get a gcam. Are you sure it does custom jpeg profiles?

I mentioned I use snapped in my OP.  I agree it's a great app.  My question was framed around custom camera jpeg profiles so that I wont need to use an editing app 90% of the time

BTW, I could have mentioned that Open Camera and friendly collaborator Hedgecam2 let users save XML settings files that can be quickly restored. The Open Camera Help says

"Save settings - Open Camera supports saving all of its settings to a file, so that you can restore them later. This could potentially be used for saving different profiles or presets. The files are saved inside Android/data/net.sourceforge.opencamera/files/backups/ . Please note that all backup files are removed in Open Camera is uninstalled (or you clear Open Camera's data in your device's Settings/Apps), unless you manually copy them elsewhere."

I've backed up a couple of Hedgecam2 (works better on my phone) configurations this way and saving / restoring is quick and easy - though obviously not like quickly rotating Snap Camera's presets on its dial.
