No, it has clicks.

It does not have markings (f2.8, f4, etc.) because the max aperture changes as you zoom.

A good ol' fashioned Google / YouTube search would have confirmed as much.

All Fuji lenses have clicked aperture rings.

Gee, and I thought forums were for asking questions.

They are (in part), but there's a good old-fashioned school of thoughtthat says you should try to research the answer first

You are correct.  This is usually a good place to ask questions.  Sometimes people appear a little rude, but most of us are willing to help answer your question and/or direct you to where an answer can be found.  Let's hope the poster was trying to be helpful and the wording just didn't quite come out right!!

Perhaps better, all fuji lenses that have aperture rings have clicked aperture rings.

all these "experts" are wrong

It doesn't have a mechanical aperture ring. Not ALL Fuji's do. It has a ring which you turn and it moves it electronically in camera. It has no stops on the ring. It just goes round and round. It has no markings either. It's a good lens for the size and price. Its a good video lens too. The biggest issue is that the selected aperture doesn't always stay, you have to constantly double check it's setting in the viewfinder or screen.

That's what I want to avoid. I have a Chinese 35mm Fuji fit lens that has the "de-clicked" aperture ring and I find that it is very easy to change the aperture by accident. That's the main reason I purchased a Fuji 35mm f/2.0 (besides the better quality). I knew that the 18-55 Fuji lens did not have aperture markings but was unsure if the aperture ring had click stops. Thanks to everybody who offered advice!
