Just me or is this stabilization unbelievably good?

I was taking my dog for a walk with the R6 and RF 800 f11.  I saw this little guy, snapped a few shots (eye autofocus zipping right to his eye).  Then I looked at the shutter speed.  1/80th! Hand held, at 800mm, with my dog pulling at the leash. What the?!!? So much for having to be 2x focal length!

Good yes, not sure "unbelievably" though.

It is about 3½ stops from the old Rule of Thumb of 1/ Focal Length (1/800th, 1/400th, 1/200th, 1/100th, 1/50th) which is within the capabilities of most modern EF lenses on a DSLR without IBIS, or even little EF-M lenses on a small mirrorless.

This was at 150mm on a M5 (240mm FF equivalent FoV) at 1/20th, handheld, no eye-AF, and about the same 3½ stops of IS. Maybe not quite as sharp, but a much older, more basic and cheaper kit.

I would expect that a R6 + RF 800 might be able to get a decent keeper rate at maybe 5-6 stops off the 1/focal length guide ?
