How do I know that I'm shooting 14 bit RAW on my 1DX Mark II?

Hi!

I've just changed from Nikon to Canon. In Nikon cameras there are settings for 12 bit, 14 bit compressed and 14 bit uncompressed RAW etc, but in my 1DX Mark II I can't find it.

Very detailed files are 20mb average. I'd just like to know if I'm getting the 14 bit RAW and am not losing any quality.

Thanks in advance!

I think your camera is 14 bits for all raw shots.

Yes, indeed, RAW is 14-bits out of the A/D compressed onto the card.

In the Canon world, RAW is whatever came off the sensor.
