Water drop photography
6

Hello!

In the last weeks I built a new control to be able to photograph water drops or more precisely drops on drops.

A description of the control is on my website. It is in German, but easily translatable with Google Translate:

https://www.haraldkreuzer.net/aktuelles/dropwise-das-perfekte-steuergeraet-um-wassertropfen-zu-fotografieren

Here are some examples, I would be very interested in your opinion. The pictures were taken with a Nikon d850 and a 105mm macro lense.

Thanks for your feedback

Many greetings from Vienna
Harald

Re: Water drop photography

That's excellent work, I'd consider raising the exposure a bit though. Are you shooting RAW? You could try brightening them in post.

These are amazing in the way they reveal things we don't normally observe. Really love the formation in the last one. Well done!

These are absolutely spectacular, Harald. How did you decide about color treatment and vignetting?
