I'm envious because
a.   It's winter and msierable down here, and
b.   You take better and more interesting photos than I do.
Regards,
Renato.

Those photos would be at least 2% better photos if you had shot with a 6 grand 50Mp body and 4 grand lense...

More seriously, love those colors!

Wonderful shots! Looks like you and the camera had a great day out. Great color as always.

Thank you!

And it is true about the quality. At screen size, and taken in good light there is not much difference to the A99. But of course, that one is also obsolete.

Since we haven´t had any travel restrictions in Sweden, we have been out with the car a lot on the weekends this spring and start of the summer. Instead of visiting shops and cafes we have seen a lot of small villages and forests within 50 miles from home. Windfarms for instance.

Great shots.. Thanks for sharing. No doubt the quality and colors are Minolta inspired.

It is still a good camera, and I have a feeling that the pictures that I get now with the lastest Photoshop CC are improved. Then there is Skylum Aurora for HDR and Topaz Denoise as well. And it is a bit of fun to use "old" technology.

Hi Michael,
Believe me... and feel flattered.
.
I was wondering where you lived as I had had similar stories about a cold Spring from relatives and friends in Italy.
.
So I checked your profile, and much to my surprise you're in Solna Sweden.....which is where my wife and I stayed when we visited Stockholm two years ago. We stayed at the Park Inn in the middle of a shopping centre, and really liked our home base in Solna.
.
Anyhow, you've inspired me to dig out my 7D and take some shots of the gloom down here.
Cheers,
Renato

Thanks for making me realise I had not updated my profile. Seven years ago I left Solna after  years. Back to the countryside in Ljusne, 230 kilometers north of the capital.
