Finaly, a body to revive my A mount lenses :)
4

Had the opportunity to buy a used A68. I have to learn a bit more with the AF, but at least, it works with my Sigma 105 Macro.

Two bugs on the same  petal.

Not easy to see the second one

Also tried the Sigma 135-400 APO (a veteran lens) an it works too  :

Domestic dispute  on the pond

Processed from RAW using Affinity since my CS6 does not handle the A68 ARW files (all things are getting old, including me   )

The body came with the kit lens 18-55 and a Sony 50mm 1.8 G (both not tried yet).

All the best, Michel.

It's just some glass, some silicon and magnesium. It isn't a religion.

Nice photos, Michel. Looks like a red mite on the right flower. Tiny little things. The 105 did a great job as well as the zoom. At the lake nearby the Canadian Geese have just had their young and now there are squabbles all the time.

HI, to say the truth I discovered the red bug only when processing the photo, else I would also have taken a photo much closer to help the ident

Thanks for looking, michel.

Nice photos.

I have discovered lately that the A68 has a built in focus limiter but it only works with some lenses.

have a look here if that is of interest to you:

Interesting, I just tried with the 135-400 Sigma which is on the slow side to AFand it seems to work. That's a bit strange since it is the body which drive the AF on this lens.

Thanks for the tip, Michel.

On my camera when the battery is low , say 10% or less, that feature is disabled .
