Bill-

There is some beautiful landscape there, but I find all of these images to be too dull and flat. Perhaps you are using a new monitor?

If it is just 'to your taste', then excuse my comment.

Thanks David.  I struggle in post with my exposure levels and tend to gravitate towards underexposed.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

For the last image, I moved the upper end of the histo to brighten, then lifted shadows and increased contrast. All in Photoshop Elements.

Yes, David...I like that better.  Thanks for the lesson.

Mike - east of Factory Butte on Coal Mine Road. Good road and easy to drive to.

Thanks! I've got to get over to that area, looks full of interesting promise.

The first two shots in the series are from Cow Dung Road just a couple of miles west of Hank and northward towards the Mars Research Station.  Coal Mine Road is the next one west of there; I believe about 10 miles west of Hank.  Lots of fun things to shoot in that area but they are mainly early or late events as the sun washes out the color.

Thanks. Yeah, you used that to your full advantage, that saturation you got is incredible.

Nice set Bill! The last one is my favorite (the brightness tweak helped).
